Unseasonal rain and hailstorm continue to lash various districts of Maharashtra. Today, for the third day in a row, the rain continued with stormy winds in several parts of the Hingoli district and city. Due to hailstorms and unseasonal rains, wheat, gram, turmeric and sorghum crops in the district have been severely damaged.<br />'' <br />''Poorna, Parbhani, and Gangakhed tehsils of Parbhani have been also hit hard by unseasonal rain and hailstorm. Four people were killed and three others were injured due to lightning yesterday. Several villages of Washim, Nanded, Nandurbar, and Dhule districts were also severely hit by heavy hailstorms. The crop of wheat, gram and onion were damaged and farmers are worried due to the heavy loss of crops.<br />'' <br />''Meantime, state Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar today inspected the damage caused due to unseasonal rain at Vadigodri in Jalna. He also interacted with the farmers. He directed the concerned officials to conduct panchnama of the damage and submit a proposal immediately. Agriculture Minister assured that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will soon take a decision regarding the crop damage.<br />
