The United States presented a draft UN Security Council resolution last night. <br/><br/>Building on previous sanctions resolutions, the new draft tightens restrictions on crude and refined oil deliveries to North Korea, most of which are supplied by China. According to the text, The measure would ban the supply of nearly 90 percent of refined oil products to North Korea and order the repatriation of all North Korean nationals working abroad within 12 months.<br/><br/>Last month, the US President Donald Trump asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to cut off oil to North Korea, a move that would deal a crippling blow to its desperately struggling economy.
