UNSC General in Haiti to assess the situation in earthquake hit areas

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon is in Haiti to inspect what has been described as the most challenging of emergencies his organisation has ever dealt with. Two months after the earthquake hit the country; hundreds of thousands of people are still without adequate shelter and sanitation. Aid workers are racing against time to try to get hundreds of thousands of homeless people into camps before the rainy season begins. The UN Secretary General is expected to visit one camp which has been established on other Golf course.
