Unlock Phase-I begins in Nagaland; All essential shops to stay open till 2 pm

<span style="color: #222222;">Nagaland's Unlock Phase-I has began from today for a period of ten days up to 10th of July. The Nagaland Government announced Unlock-I on 28th of June after the state was under the lockdown period for almost one and half months amid the second wave of COVID-19.<br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, Following the announcement of unlocking in the state, life is slowly returning back to normal as most of the activities have been relaxed. However, this 10-day Unlock-I in the state will be an observatory period for unlocking and reducing COVID-19 curbs in the state.<br />''<br />''During the 10 days period, the State Government in its guidelines has allowed all essential shops and business to open from 6 A.M. to 2 P.M. while shops dealing with all kinds of goods are permitted to open on alternate days.  <br />''<br />''However, direction has been given to every shop to follow COVID-19 protocols as well as displayed the status of all the employees' vaccination status. Barbers' shops and saloons are allowed to open only with vaccinated employees or attendants. Government and private offices are also allowed to function with 50 per cent attendance.<br />''<br />''Wedding solemnization, funerals and sports training are also allowed subject to an attendance of not more than 50 persons. While Mass Public Transportation and inter-district movement of people for non-essential goods remain suspended. Besides, curfew has been imposed from 7 P.M. to 4 A.M. till July 10.</span><br />
