India today reiterated that it is ready to discuss all issues with Pakistan, but there will be limit to such dialogue as long as India faces terrorism from across the border. National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon has said that New Delhi is willing to discuss all issues including Kashmir, but there will be limits on how far this dialogue would proceed. He was responding to queries at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace – a Washington-based think-tank. Mr. Menon rejected the links between Kashmir issue and jehadi terrorism. He sad, India had bitter experiences with Pakistan in the past in this regard. He said, though considerable progress was made on divisive issues in full fledged composite dialogue withPakistan between 2005 and 2007, but Islamabad did not seem to stop terrorism or the terrorists and they might use it as a pretext. He added that the government is trying to restore the dialogue.
