In Pakistan, unknown gunmen attacked NATO oil supply tankers early today, wounding three people and destroying 10 vehicles. The attack took place in the town of Khairpur, some 350 kilometres northeast of the Arabian Sea port city of Karachi from where supplies for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan are carried by road. The tankers were attacked when the drivers and crew were having tea at a roadside restaurant. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
