In<b> </b>Uttar Pradesh, Universities and degree colleges reopened today across the state but very few students reached campus on first day. College and university administration have started to prepare the roster for the classes which will be attended by 50% students.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports that some students were excited to visit their campus after a long time while few were worried about the recent Surge in the spread of Corona but everyone was taking all the necessary precautions decided by the government.<br />'' <br />''Attendance was quite low and hardly 10 to 25% students reached for classes on first day. Classroom were sanitized and thermal screening of students as well as staff and teachers were conducted by the  University and college administration.<br />'' <br />'' Masks were provided to those students who were not wearing it and arrangement of hand sanitizer was also there. In Pilibhit, Mau, Kannauj, Mathura and Chitrakoot districts  attendance was around 10 to 15% while in districts like Hapur, Kaushambi and Muzaffarnagar students were excited to attend the class and around 25% of the total registered students reached their campus on first day.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In Janta Vedic and Digambar Jain collages in Baroda of Baghpat district around 800 students arrived for classes against the strength of more than 5500 students. 30 to 40% attendance was registered in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University of Kanpur city.</span><br />
