United States says it will continue to work with India to eradicate the menace of terrorism. In an exclusive interview to AIR Correspondent Vijay Raina the US special envoy to Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Rashid Hussain said in New Delhi that the US has a comprehensive counter-terrorism partnership with India. Mr. Hussian however asserted that there can be no cause justifies terrorism even if anybody has complaint against certain policies. In reply to a question, he pointed out that it is wrong to club any religion including Islam with terrorism. He made it clear there can not be a good or bad terrorisim. That is why there can be no good or bad Taliban. The statement assumes importance in the wake of reports that attempts are being made to push in Taliban Haqani in the government in Afghanistan. India has always resisted such attempts saying any group having a violent background should not be part of any government in Kabul. The special US Envoy urged the religious leaders throughout the world that they should make it clear that terrorism has been rejected by people in all faiths and has no roots in any religion. He said, the policy of United States is to work with the governments across the globe to deal with this issue effectively.
