<span style="color: #222222;">In Maharashtra Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated 31st Road Safety Campaign organised by Regional Transport Office,Traffic Police and District Road Safety Committee in Nagpur today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Emphasising on the use of e-governance in licence issuance process Mr Gadkari said, the test for licence will be carried through computers in Pune and Mumbai centres to ensure the transparency and accuracy. He also said there is a proposal to establish 2,000 centres for issuing the vehicle fitness and PUC certificate to vehicles.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Inaugurating the Road Safety campaign in Nagpur, he said, NGO's, public organisations and other concerned stakeholders like Auto Dealers Association and Private Bus Operators must take initiative to ensure road safety measures. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also mentioned about the recent provisions of the Amended Motor Vehicle Act, in which financial assistance will be provided to the social organisations which are involved in spreading the awareness about road safety. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The Minister also chaired District Road Safety Committee meeting after the inauguration of this campaign. He instructed the NHAI and traffic police department to make improvements in the accident prone black spots in Nagpur district to avoid road accident.</span><br />''
