Union Secretary for the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Anil Kumar Jha, made an extensive tour of Shopian villages in South Kashmir on Saturday to assess the impact of Tribal development and welfare schemes of the government.<br />''  <br />'' The Secretary accompanied by other senior officials of the Ministry visited Heerpora, Dubjan, and Peer Ki Gali.<br />''  <br />'' Mr. Jha interacted with tribal migratory populations and listened to their issues and suggestions for more holistic tribal welfare. He also sought feedback on the ground and the impact of schemes and programmes of the Ministry towards the goal of inclusive development of the tribal population.<br />''  <br />'' The Secretary asked them to make 100 percent benefit of scholarship schemes of the Government and to avail all other benefits for their overall holistic development. He said the Department is making all efforts to make the ideal socio-economic development of the tribal population.
