<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrasekhar visited the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) in Bengaluru today. The minister launched the INDUS Internet of Things, IoT self-learning kit. IoT is a system of interrelated computing devices that are provided with unique identifiers that have the ability to transfer data over a network without human intervention.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister suggested that CDAC should extend IoT for Drones and High-Performance Computing for targeted industries. The minister also viewed the demonstrations of indigenously developed Quantum Simulator, Smart Energy meter, smart water distribution system, Microprocessor Development programme, Heritage and Language computing and IoT platinum Research Kit.<br />'' <br />''The Union minister also held interaction with the Semiconductor industry representatives in C-DAC. He suggested steps towards preparing a roadmap for creating a successful semiconductor ecosystem in India.</span><br />
