Inaugurating the Sanskrit Short Film Festival in Chennai on Saturday (27th January2024), the Minister said that it was encouraging to see the growing interest in this particular field. The Minister said that the Government was keen on encouraging talents in lesser-known areas of Indian culture. He said that the Government will support films based on Indian culture. He said that it was a matter of honour to know that the post-production of internationally acclaimed films are being done in India.<br />''<br />''Meanwhile, after paying tribute at Vijayakant's memorial in Chennai, the minister said that the actor-politician Vijayakant was a man of ideals.
