Union MoS Dr Jitendra Singh says, after getting neglected for years. Chenab region is now put on fast track of development by Modi-led BJP government

<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh, who was on a one-day tour of the Doda district, as part of the 'know your constituency' programme, said that the Chenab region which remained ignored and unattended by the successive governments, has been now put on a fast track of development by Modi-led BJP government. Dr Jitendra  Singh said this while addressing a largely attended workers' rally at Community Hall, Doda. </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Union Minister said that the Chenab region, where the majority of the population resides in hills, remained undeveloped and residents did not have access even to basic amenities like roads, potable water, electricity and education but during the last 8 years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, all the developmental works in Chenab region were put on a fast track, which is now evident from the massive road network to almost in every inhabited area.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Attending a series of programmes, the Union Minister after reaching Doda town chaired a high-level meeting of NHPC (National Hydroelectric Power Project) officials about the progress of ongoing projects. Later, he also chaired the meeting of party workers and the District Development Council, Doda.</span></p>
