Minister of state for chemicals and fertilisers, and new and renewable energy Bhagwanth Khuba on Friday chaired a meeting on the implementation of central flagship programmes in Sikkim including those under the aspirational districts programme, among other issues, at Tashiling Secretariat, Gangtok.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Khuba discussed programmes regarding health, agriculture, education and power with departmental representatives. He emphasized on the need for prompt reporting of crop loss, compensation to farmers under central government schemes and Sikkim's renewable energy potential.<br />'' <br />''He stressed on the need to expand and implement central flagship schemes which need to be adopted on a larger scale with a pre-emptive, proactive and collective approach.
