<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Development of North Eastern Region, B.L. Verma on Friday visited Ganderbal in the Kashmir Valley and inspected the functioning of the Tulmulla Milk Producers Dairy Cooperative Society Ltd. During the visit, the Minister inspected various units of the Milk Producers Dairy Cooperative Society and was informed that the Society has been working since 1982 with a membership of 318 Milk producers and has raised an appreciable movable and immovable infrastructure worth more than 10 crore rupees out of its own profit.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">While addressing on the occasion, Mr Verma complimented the society for organizing an impressive and fruitful primary level unit of such scale and stressed upon expansion of its business and membership horizon so that ample opportunities of employment is generated. The Minister also assured of support from Ministry of Cooperation for such fruitful Cooperative Societies. He also exhorted upon the Deputy Registrar Cooperative Ganderbal to hold awareness programmes in different locations of the district to revive the Cooperative movement in the district so that the problems faced by poor and marginalized sections of the Society are mitigated by way of associating them with Cooperatives.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">The Union Minister also visited Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmulla and paid his obeisance.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>
