Union Ministers Jitendra Singh addresses Roundtable on "Net Zero Built Environment with Connected Communities" in US

Science and Technology Minister Dr Jitendra Singh has said that decarbonizing cities and buildings should be the highest priority for the public and private sectors to address the adversity of climate change.<br />''<br />'' He said, it needs to be done by using an integrated and technology-based approach to bring systemic efficiency.<br />''<br />''Addressing the Roundtable on "Net Zero Built Environment with Connected Communities" at Global Clean Energy Action Forum-2022 at Pittsburgh, in the United States today, Dr Singh called for important actions like a global Memorandum of Understanding with respect to enhancing the research and development, Deployment, Knowledge and technology sharing related to demand-driven solutions to address the challenges of climate change.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He also informed that his Ministry has supported research and development and deployment of technologies with an investment of over 34 million US dollars during the last decade.</span><br />
