Union minister of State for Labour and Employment K Suresh has appealed to all trade unions to withdraw the 48-hour long General Strike proposed on 20th and 21st of this month.After reviewing various programmes and projects being implemented in Andhra Pradesh on Friday, the minister appealed to all trade unions to withdraw their proposed strike as it will affect the normal live.He said demands like Price rise, disinvestments and employment generation are of general in nature and not under the purview of the Labour ministry.
