Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot has urged people to follow footsteps of Dr B R Ambedkar. Addressing a pres conference in New Delhi, Mr Gehlot said, Dr Ambedkar always worked for the betterment of India. <br/><br/>He said, Dr. Ambedkar was a true patriot, who worked and fought in the interest of the nation. He said, Ambedkar International Centre is being established at 15, Janpath in New Delhi, at a cost of 197 crore rupees. <br/><br/>The Minister said, government is also helping financially those who are opting for inter-caste marriages. He said, manual scavenging is being completely discouraged by the government. He informed that 1.5 lakh Scheduled Caste beneficiaries have been imparted Skill Development training. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana was implemented for integrated development of 2,500 Scheduled Caste majority villages.
