Union Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Kripal Yadav today said the NDA government at Centre has launched several schemes for agriculture sector to double the income of farmers.<br/><br/>Inaugurating the Making of Developed India- Modi Fest public dialogue programmes at Madhepura and Begusarai district in Bihar Mr. Yadav said crores of farmer across the country have benefitted from centrally sponsored farmer welfare schemes. He said ambitious Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Soil Health Card schemes launched by NDA government have helped in augmentation of irrigation potential and fertility of land significantly.<br/><br/>The Union minister rued that despite efforts of the Centre, Bihar government is not taking interest in implementation of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna and Soil Health Card Scheme, hence the farmers are deprived from the benefit.<br/><br/>On the occasion of completion of three years of NDA government at the Centre a three day Modi Fest have also been organized at Chapra, Aurangabad and Muzaffarpur in the state.
