Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar on 3-day visit to Nagaland

Union Minister of State for Electronics & Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar is on a three-day visit to Nagaland from Wednesday. On reaching Dimapur airport, the Minister was received by Adviser Mmhonlumo Kikon and his colleagues Minister V. Kashiho Sangtam, Advisers Imnatiba and Yangseo Sangtam.<br />''<br />''Home Commissioner of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha said, due to bad weather conditions, the Union Minister had to cancel his scheduled visit to Aspirational District Kiphire today. <br />''<br />''He said, the Minister proceeded to Mon district by road and will visit Longwa village tomorrow and interact with the senior officials of District Administration. Mr. Sinha also informed that, if weather permits, Mr Chandrasekhar will fly to Kiphire on the same day.<br />''<br />''On the last day of his tour, the Union Minister is scheduled to inaugurate five National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology Centres in North eastern Region from Dimapur. These centres are located at Dibrugarh and Jorhat in Assam, Passighat in Arunachal Pradesh, Dimapur in Nagaland and Senapati in Manipur.<br />
