Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajeev Chandrasekhar today said that the aim of the Government is to make them a skilled workforce in order to pave the way to get them jobs and make them self-entrepreneurs. Addressing after inaugurating the Kushal Bharat Viksit Bharat programme in Agartala, Mr. Chandrasekhar said that there are ample opportunities but one has to work hard for it. He added that skills are the passport to prosperity. He opined that the present generation in India is among the luckiest ones because of a huge array of opportunities.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Minister said, before 2014, 42 crore people used to go to work to survive their families and out of those 42 crore people, 31 crore did not possess any skill. He asserted that, in 2014, the Prime Minister resolved that the youth of the country should be made strong by providing them with different kinds of skills. This he said was similar to providing clean drinking water to households.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Under the Kushal Bharat Viksit Bharat training programme, the Government aims to empower the youth of Tripura skilling 48,000 youth of the state in next three years with future ready and industry ready skills and PM Vishwakarma Guru Ka Samman Programme.</span><br />
