Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel highlights need to create more cultural spaces to bring cultural wealth to masses

Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel today highlighted the need to create more cultural spaces in order to bring our cultural wealth to the masses. He said this while addressing a programme on the occasion of International Museum Day today which was organised by the Ministry of Culture. <br />''<br />''Mr. Patel said that India is a storehouse of archaeological treasures and its cultural richness is world famous. He added that we may have lacked excellence in  showcasing our boundless culture in the manner it is done abroad. He also highlighted the challenge that scientific documentation may not be available for many of our traditions and knowledge which have been carried forward through 'Shruti' and 'Smriti'. He said that museums can contribute in a big way in presenting correct history and facts.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Minister also expressed his gratitude to those who have contributed to the museum development movement and continue to do so.</span><br />
