<span style="color: black;">Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray reviewed the ongoing road projects in the state in Mumbai yesterday. AIR correspondent reports that as decided earlier, CM Thackray and union minister Gadkari yesterday met at Sahyadri Guest House and took review of long pending national and state highway projects. The meeting was held under chief presence of Gadkari while presided by Thackray. It was decided to take regular review of works of these projects. Thackray said that, chief secretary will regularly take review of the progress of these projects to expedite them.<br />'' <br />''He added that, I myself and deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar will take review of these projects later at every month. He also directed senior officials to immediately solve the pending issues concerning state government. Gadkari suggested to appoint retired IAS officials to sort out the issues regarding land acquisition and forest land. The road projects include Vadodara-Mumbai Express way, Ahmadnagar Bypass road, Ratnagiri_Kolhapur, Kolhapur-Kagal, Sangli-Kolhapur, Surat-Nasik-Ahmadnagar-Solapur.<br />''<br />''Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar instructed officials to resolve the pending issues so that, Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi road and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi way would not be stalled further. National Highway Development Authority, Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation and National Highway Works Department made presentation about the progress of the projects.</span>
