<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari announced that 25.2 KM long section of Silchar-Sautrasthra Mahasadak between Balachhera and Harangajao will be completed by March 2022. He also announced that two new bridges and a multi model logistic park (MMLP) will be constructed on Barak river. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Union Minister was speaking after laying the foundation stone of 20 National Highway projects in Assam and dedication of 7 completed projects to the nation. These projects have a length of nearly 439 kilometers and cost approximately Rs 2,366 crore.
