<span style="color: #222222;">Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone for seven National Highway projects worth over Rs. 4,400 crore&nbsp;in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district on Sunday.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The projects are likely to benefit the local people by way of increased tourism, safe journey, reduced travel time, beautification of highways, enhanced economic activity and employment, and all-weather roads.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The projects include four-laning of Punjab-Himachal Pradesh Border to Sihuni and construction of National Highways section which include- Paonta Sahib -Guma-Feduzpul National highway,&nbsp; Hamirpur-Mandi&nbsp; National highway, Una to Bhiroo highway, Mataur-Dharamshala-Mcleodganj National highway, four-laning of 7 km long Paonta Sahi and construction of retaining wall and installation of crash barriers on Sainj-Luhri-Anni-Jalori-Banjar-Aut National highway.&nbsp; </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, Union Minister JP Nadda and former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar were also present on this occasion.&nbsp;</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
