Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurates 3 lanes Koilwar bridge in Bihar

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari announced road over bridges (ROBs) in the state highways in Bihar would be constructed with an expenditure of rupees 700 crore. He said 10 thousand crore rupees has been allotted for the construction of by-pass roads and rupees 25 thousand crore for 17 new mega bridges in the state.<br />'' <br />'' While inaugurating the remaining three lanes (downstream) of the six lane – lane Koilwar bridge over the Sone river in Bhojpur through videoconferencing from New Delhi yesterday.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Gadkari said the much-awaited 1,528 metre long and 32 metre wide bridge, built parallel to the old Koilwar bridge is expected to ease traffic and make travel easy for people between Patna and South Bihar towns as well as the Uttar Pradesh.  <br />'' <br />''Union Minister said the old and new projects sanctioned in Bihar will be completed between  2022 and 2024. Mr Gadkari appealed Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to set up industrial clusters along express highway and economic corridor in the state.</span>
