<span style="color: #222222;">Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari today held a meeting with a Japanese Delegation over sustainable infrastructure development that strengthened the continued partnership between the two countries in New Delhi. The Japanese Delegation was led by Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National High-Speed Rail Project Joint Committee Meeting co-chairman Dr Masafumi Mori.<br />''<br />''During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and opinions in the field of Road Transport and Logistics service-related road infrastructure. They also deliberated upon capacity development and technology sharing in the field of sustainable transport development, alternate clean and green fuel, development of innovative transit technologies for the movement of passengers and cargo. India and Japan also laid emphasis on their sustainable development initiative for the North-East region of India along with North-East Road Network connectivity improvement projects.</span>
