<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Narayan Rane launched the Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme for Service Sector (SCLCSS) today at Guwahati for promoting entrepreneurship and opportunities for MSMEs in the North-Eastern Region.<br />''<br />''Addressing the gathering Rane said this scheme will help in meeting the technology-related requirements of enterprises in the service sector and has a provision of 25% capital subsidy for procurement of Plant and Machinery including service equipment through institutional credit to the  SC-ST entrepreneurs without any sector-specific restrictions.<br />''<br />''The Union Minister said that MSME sector plays a significant role in terms of job creation and expanding manufacturing base. The impact of MSMEs on our economy is immense and it can only play a pivotal role for our Prime Minister's dream of Atmanirvar Bharat, he added.<br />''<br />''Rane said that MSME sector can increase our per capita income and it will help North East Region in its efforts towards encouraging entrepreneurship. According to him the MSME Ministry will do the hand holding for all the entrepreneurs and set a target of 60% growth of MSME sector in the next five years for this region.<br />''<br />''The Union Minister felicitated SC-ST entrepreneurs of the Northeastern region and awarded certificates to the successful trainees of the National Small Industries Corporation training at Guwahati.<br />''<br />''Currently, MSME sector consists of over 6 crore units employing over 11 crore people and is a seminal contributor to the economic growth with over 30% of contribution to GDP and over 49% of overall exports from India.</span><br />
