Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising important health issues in today's 'Mann Ki Baat'. Mr Nadda stated that the Prime Minister highlighted contemporary health issues in his address such as ending all preventable maternal and child deaths in the country and simple steps to prevent dengue. He said the emphasis on preventing dengue through simple measures will create widespread awareness about maintaining sanitation and hygiene. <br/><br/>In his speech, the Prime Minister had noted that no mother and child should die of causes which are preventable. Mr Nadda asserted that his Ministry will rise to the challenge of ending all preventable maternal and child deaths along with the states.
