Union Minister L Murugan reaches Srinagar on 3-day visit to Kashmir Valley

Union Minister of State for information and Broadcasting, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Dr. L Murugan  reached Srinagar today morning for a three-day visit to Kashmir Valley. The Minister's visit to the Union Territory is a part of the Public Outreach Programme initiative of the central government for Jammu and Kashmir. <br />''<br />''AIR Correspondent reports, upon reaching Srinagar today, the Union Minister Dr. Murugan proceeded to Awantipora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district and inaugurated Re-Circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS) facility there. The facility is developed by young entrepreneur Hina Parray under Pradhan Mantri Matysa Sampada Yojna. The Minister said the facility developed by Hina Parray is an inspiration for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir on the path of development. <br />''<br />''He also took a review of various centrally sponsored schemes of various departments in the district. The Minister also interacted with public delegations including members of District Development Council, Chairperson of Municipal Council, BDC members and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions. While interacting with the delegations, the Union Minister said that the central government is implementing various developmental initiatives for the overall development of people of all the communities of the country. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Murugan also inspected the restoration and conservations works, e-inaugurated and laid the foundations of several developmental projects.</span>
