Union Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju has lauded the development work done by BJP led government in Manipur. Addressing an election rally in Bishnupur district of the state today, Mr Rijiju said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working tirelessly for the development of North East Region including Manipur.<br />''<br />''The voting of six assembly constituencies in Bishnupur district will be held on February 28 in first phase. Twenty two candidates are in fray in these constituencies.<br />''<br />''The Union minister said that normalcy has returned to Manipur under the governance of BJP led government and the state has been progressing in different development sectors. He said, the road connectivity and facility of safe drinking water to households has also improved. He highlighted that considering the potential of sports talent in Manipur, the Prime Minister sanctioned nation's first Sport University in the state. He said, the construction of national Sports University has been progressing and it will be completed within four years.<br />
