<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, as also the other Himalayan States, have a huge Start-up potential waiting to be explored and urged the youth to acquire appropriate skills and give up "Sarkari Naukri" mindset. <br />''<br />''The Union Minister was addressing the 'Uday StartUp Summit' organised by FICCI-FLO led by its Chairperson, Varuna Anand and Senior Vice Chairperson, Ruchika Gupta in Jammu on Saturday. Dr. Jitendra Singh said that there have been notable success stories in Aroma Mission and Purple Revolution especially in Jammu & Kashmir, but the expected momentum in Biotechnology and Agritech StartUps has not matched pace with the rapid growth of StartUps in some other States. Dr Jitendra Singh said, the success story of Aroma Mission and Lavender cultivation in J&K is being replicated in other Himalayan states such as Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Nagaland in the North-East.</span><br />
