Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Science Dr. Harsh Vardhan arrived in Nagaland on a two-day visit to the state.<br/><br/>According to official sources, Dr. Vardhan visited the Production Facility established by DBT under the project "Value Chain Citrus Development" of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Complex for North East Hills (NEH) at Jharnapani under Dimapur district in Nagaland. <br/><br/>Dr. Vardhan also visited the "Mithun Firm" of the ICAR National Research Center on Mithun at Jharpani. He inaugurated the DBT created Biotech Infrastructure Facility at ICAR National Research Center on Mithun at Jharnapani.<br/><br/>Later the Union Minister met Nagaland Chief Minister T R Zeliang and the Governor P B Acharya at Raj Bhavan. <br/>Today, Dr. Vardhan will inaugurate the Twinning Network Project on Chemical Ecology of North Eastern Region at Nagaland Science and Technology (NASTEC) in Kohima. He will pay a visit the DBT Healthcare Laboratory established at Naga Hospital Authority in Kohima.
