Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath jointly inaugurated the HPCL's biogas plant at Saijani village in Badaun district on Saturday (27th January 2024). <br />''<br />''Besides, the foundation stones of biogas plants were also laid for Sitapur, Jaunpur, Bareilly, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Amethi, Bahraich, and Fatehpur districts. 44 development projects worth 424 crore rupees were also inaugurated, and foundation stones were laid in different locations in the state. <br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the inauguration of the compressed biogas plant is the beginning of realizing Prime Minister Modi's dream. He said, this will help in increasing the income of farmers, protecting the environment, and setting up new enterprises to employ the youth. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, that the last ten years have seen a new India, and the last seven have seen a new Uttar Pradesh. He said, changes will occur in all fields in the future. The Chief Minister said the compressed biogas plant will usher in a new era of operations and to generate 14 tons of compressed gas and 65 tons of compost. </span><br />
