Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that India's next mission towards Awachh Bharat will be focused on garbage-free cities after achieving 100 percent open defecation-free (ODF) state across Urban Local Bodies in the country.<br />''<br />''Speaking at the inaugural event of Swachch Shehar Samvad and Tech Exhibition in New Delhi today, Mr Puri said, eight thousand crore rupees worth of projects are sanctioned to remediate legacy dump sites containing 16 crore metric tonnes of waste.<br />''<br />''The Minister said, with an aim of zero dum site challenge a total of 15 thousand acres of prime lands will be freed and reclaimed under this initiative.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr Puri also inaugurated a series of programs aligning with the garbage-free India campaign including an internship program for students called TULIP.</span><br />
