Union Minister Giriraj Singh inaugurates Mission Antyodaya Survey 2022-23 in New Delhi

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh have said Mission Antyodaya Survey will ultimately succeed in realizing the dream of a poverty-free India. He was speaking after inaugurating the Mission Antyodaya Survey – 2022-23, including launching of its portal and mobile application at a function in New Delhi today.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Singh said, the Mission will ensure the effective utilization of resources through a convergence of various government schemes for sustainable livelihood for each marginalized household. He said, this has been done to underline the philosophy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi of whole of government approach.<br />'' <br />'' The Minister informed that Mission Antyodaya Survey – 2022-23 will be conducted in all two lakh 69 thousand 253-gram panchayats and equivalent, whose profile has been created on e-Gram Swaraj. He added, however, Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland are not covered yet due to elections.<br />'' <br />''Our Correspondent reports that the Survey-2022 questionnaire has 183 indicators and 216 data points covering 21 areas. The areas include good governance,  agriculture and land development, fuel and fodder,  animal husbandry, fisheries,  rural housing, water and environmental sanitation, roads and communications and others. A total of 26 Central government Ministries or Departments have been consulted for the finalization of the questionnaire. The questionnaire has been translated into 13 regional languages.
