Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya virtually inaugurates CGHS Wellness Centre at Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar

Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya virtually inaugurated the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) Wellness Centre at Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar today. The centre is expected to cater to the needs of Central Government employees and pensioners not only in the city but the nearby regions of Marathwada.<br />''<br />''Addressing the event virtually, Dr Mandaviya said the Union Government is committed to providing good Health Care facilities to Central Government employees and Pensioners and their dependents. Dr Mandaviya added that Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar would be the 79th city to be covered by CGHS Wellness Centres.<br />''<br />''Union Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare Dr. Bharati Pawar who also addressed virtually said that CGHS shall be empanelling Private Hospitals under CGHS for treatment with a special emphasis on inpatient treatment. Union Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Bhagwat Karad extended his gratitude to the Union Government for making the dream of a CGHS Centre in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar a reality.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">CGHS provides health care facilities to 15 Lakh primary card holders and more than 42 Lakh beneficiaries through a network of 338 Allopathic Wellness Centres and 103 Ayush Units.</span><br />
