<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr.L Murugan participated in the Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Kotagiri Nilgiris District in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He also released the awareness brochures on various schemes for tribal welfare implemented by the Union Government. <br />''<br />''The Minister handed over the cheques for agricultural crop loans to 17 farmers in Kotagiri District. The Minister also distributed millet bags to the farmers on the occasion of International Year of Millets. <br />''<br />''He also presented certificates of appreciation to the students who won various sports competitions. Speaking to the media, the Minister said that the Yatra will create awareness among the public about the special schemes of the Government. The public will be encouraged to register themselves on the various schemes of the Government to get the benefits directly. He said that 20 vehicles will be used in the Yatra in Tamilnadu.</span><br />
