<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and&nbsp; Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh today reviewed the outcome of Special Campaign launched for disposal of pendency in Government of India. The special campaign was launched during the period 2nd October to 31st October this year.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">At a review meeting with top officials of Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Dr Singh noted that more than 13 lakh 73 thousand were weeded out&nbsp; of over 15 lakh 23 thousand&nbsp; files identified for the purpose. Similarly, against the target of around 3 lakh 24 thousand Public Grievances, more than 2 lakh 91 thousand grievances were redressed.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the period, a total of&nbsp; 685 out of 834 identified Rules and Processes were&nbsp; simplified and out of nearly 11 thousand&nbsp; References from MPs, over 8 thousand were resolved.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Dr Singh said that the Special Campaign on Disposal of Pendency was conducted on the directions of the Prime Minister and the progress will be presented to him this week.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the Special Campaign was aimed at ensuring timely and effective disposal of Public Grievances, References from Members of Parliament, State Governments, Inter-Ministerial Consultations and Parliamentary Assurances by each Ministry and Department .</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister informed that during this special campaign, files of temporary nature were identified and weeded out as per the extant instructions and redundant scrap material and obsolete items discarded to improve cleanliness at work places.</span><br />
