<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stressed upon providing a level playing field and equal opportunities to reap demographic dividend. Mr. Pradhan said this while attending the stakeholders' consultation on draft National Credit Framework (NCrF) at IIT Delhi on Monday. Expressing confidence over NCrF, the minister said, it will provide an opportunity to recognize applied aspects of knowledge and skills. He underlined that NCrF will be a key for enhancing the economic convertibility of education and bringing a vast majority of the population under the fold of formal education and skilling. He said, it will help in achieving Gross Enrolment Ratio targets and accelerating India's march towards becoming a 5 trillion dollar economy.</span></p> <br />''The Minister further stated that the National Education Policy 2020 envisages universalization of the credit framework for removing barriers between knowledge, skills and employability. He said, it is also establishing a credit accumulation and transfer system for all kinds of learning for ensuring seamless mobility between learning and skilling pathways.
