The Minister said the National Digital Health Mission, NDHM, being true to the spirit of the honorable Prime Minister's Digital India vision, leverages the transformative power of e-governance by introducing the concept of a Unique Healthcare ID, UHID, for every citizen of India, which in turn would serve as a repository of all health-related information of an individual. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, the portable nationwide UHID will liberate citizens from many healthcare challenges while empowering them to take informed decisions for availing the best healthcare services. Stating that the Atma Nirbhar Bharat will be built on a Swasth Bharat, the Minister added that the nationwide portability of UHID will greatly benefit migrant workers and will be a boon for the people living in remote rural areas of the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Describing Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana as an opportunity to serve the poor, the Union Minister says that the scheme seeks to cover 50 crore beneficiaries in the country including over 60 lakh beneficiaries in Odisha.</span><br />''
