Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has appealed to the people of Odisha to come forward to make&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;testing a mass movement.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In a video message on Wednesday, Mr Pradhan has expressed worry over people hesitating to go for&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;test despite the availability of testing facilities.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''AIR correspondent reports, putting emphasis on more number of testing, Mr Pradhan has said Odisha still lags behind the national average of 146 tests per day for every one lakh population conducted between the first and the 17th of May last.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''However, the state has been conducting tests on only 120 persons per one lakh population per day during the same period- Mr. Pradhan said.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''On the other hand, Odisha Government has conducted over 1.10 crore&nbsp;COVID-19&nbsp;tests till date with about 50 to 60 thousand tests being conducted per day, as of now.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Meanwhile, the state has been reporting fresh infection discovery as well as recovery from the infection in the vicinity of 10,000 every day for the last few days.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, the Odisha High Court is being shut down from today till the 27th of this month in view of the increasing COVID-19 infections in the state, in the city of Cuttack where the High Court is located and also among the staff of the High Court itself.</span><br />
