<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">Union Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today jointly inaugurated the newly built National Skill Training Institute (Women) (NSTI) at Anandnagar, Agartala through hybrid mode.&nbsp;The Union Minister attended the inauguration programme virtually from Delhi.&nbsp;Speaking after inaugurating the NSTI (Women), Mr. Pradhan said that&nbsp;the institute which is spread across 4.12 acres land has been built at a cost of 17 crore rupees.&nbsp;The foundation stone for this new building was laid five years back by Mr. Pradhan himself.&nbsp;Quoting Prime Minister, Mr. Pradhan said that Mr. Modi had said that his government will be committed to the welfare of women.&nbsp;He highlighted that girls' enrollment ratio in Higher Education has surged by 34 percent in last 10 years from 2014 to 2024.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;">This he said, indicate toward one of the biggest achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Minister said, if a woman takes education she can touch the sky.&nbsp;He also said that out of 100 percent, 43 percent enrolled women are taking education in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in India&nbsp;Mr. Pradhan underlined that this is the highest percentage in terms of women taking education in STEM when compared to those in developed countries.&nbsp;Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, Directorate of Skill Development has trained about 42 thousand candidates in last nine years.</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Directorate of Skill Development in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (International) is executing the international placement programme. Till now, thirteen candidates have been mobilized who are currently undergoing Japanese language training in Delhi.
