A Pelletizing laboratory facility, which is first of its kind in India, was inaugurated today by Union Steel Minister, Choudhary Birendra Singh at RDCIS, Ranchi. Speaking at occasion, Union Minister advised SAIL to utilize mineral resources of low grade iron ore for National interest. <br/><br/>The Minister also saw operation of ball mill, disc pelletiser, blaine apparatus and cold Compressive strength equipment. Any type of Iron ore can be made quality heat hardened pellet through this automated pilot pellet heat hardening unit. On this occasion senior company officials like Chairman, SAIL P.K.Singh, Director(Technical) Raman, Executive Director (RDCIS), B.N. Thakur, were also present.
