Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Bhupender Yadav said that people's support is highly needed to save the Loktak Lake and other wetland areas of Manipur.<br />''Mr Yadav attended the valedictory function of Regional Consultative Workshop for Restoration and Integrated Management of Wetlands held in Imphal today. <br />''The Union Minister said, the Loktak Lake is the only fresh water land in the Northeast region and a natural shelter for endangered deer- Sangai, the State animal of Manipur.
