Union Minister for Information &amp; Broadcasting and Sports, Youth Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur has urged the youth to contribute their bit to make India a developed nation. Addressing Yuva Samvad – India @2047&quot; programme organised by Nehru Yuwa Kendra Sangathan at Raipur on Saturday, he said that we should be proud of our heritage, history, art, culture and tradition. The mentality of western countries was imposed on our country for 70 years. The work of changing this thinking has been done in the last eight years. Mr Thakur asked the youth to remain alert against forces trying to break up the country. He said there is a need to remain alert against those who spread propaganda against the country and mislead people. He said the Prime Minister has motivated the youth towards self-employment through start-ups. It is fetching good results also. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' Interacting with the youth, the Union Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set five resolutions for youth that is- &nbsp;Making India of a developed country, followed by &quot;Freedom from the inhibition of slavery&quot;, expansion of infrastructure, unity and solidarity, and sincerity towards duty. He said, if these five resolutions are followed, India can certainly become a world leader in the time to come.<br />'' <br />'' While replying to the questions asked by the youth participating in the dialogue, the Union Minister said, keeping the future employment prospects in mind, the need-based curriculum is being designed in the new education policy. Mr. Thakur said that chairmanship of G20 will give an opportunity to promote our culture, tourism and industry.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier the Union Minister launched the SRU mobile app and the &quot;SRU World&quot; Magazine of the university. The students and teachers of SRU will be able to do all the works related to the university with this multipurpose mobile app.<br />'' <br />''During his Raipur visit, Anurag Singh Thakur also participated in a Youth 20 consultation programme. The programme &quot;Youth dialogue with Youth Minister&quot; was organized by the India Institute of Management, Raipur.
