Union Minister Anurag Thakur on 2-day visit to Himachal Pradesh to participate in programs of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Youth and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur, is on a two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh to participate in the programs of the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'. Today, he joined various events and interacted with beneficiaries in Nalati village of Dehra Vidhan Sabha, Jol Sappad Gram in Nadaun Vidhan Sabha, and Balh Gram in Hamirpur Vidhan Sabha, expressing appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the journey. Before addressing the beneficiaries, he welcomed and conveyed greetings from Nalati to Prime Minister Modi during the interaction program organized as part of the Yatra. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the most popular leader in the world, has pledged to make India a developed nation by 2047. He said that connecting with villages, towns, and cities every day, people are joining the 'Modi's Guarantee Vehicle' in every corner of India. He added that participating in the dialogue program with the beneficiaries of various central government schemes during 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' today in the presence of Prime Minister Modi is a memorable moment to express greetings and share thoughts about the resolution of developed India.<br />''  <br />'' Mr Thakur highlighted the achievements of the Modi government in the last 9 and a half years, emphasizing the upliftment of the deprived and the overall progress of the country. He mentioned the significant milestones achieved, such as bringing over 13 crore people out of poverty in just 5 years, providing homes to over 4 crore needy people in 9 years, constructing more than 12 crore toilets, ensuring water supply through taps to 13 crore households, providing electricity to every household, implementing the Ayushman Bharat Yojana benefiting 60 crore people, administering 220 crore free vaccines, and distributing free ration to 80 crore needy people for the last 5 years. He attributed these accomplishments solely to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br />''  <br />'' Mr Thakur expressed confidence that the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' under the resolution of developed India by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon transform into a people's movement and India will become a developed nation even before 2047.
