Union Minister Anurag Thakur along with Nisith Pramanik chairs 1st high-level committee meeting for upcoming Paris Olympics in New Delhi

<span style="color: #222222;">Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur along with his deputy in the Ministry Nisith Pramanik chaired the first high-level committee meeting for upcoming Paris Olympics in New Delhi today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' The meeting, which was attended by representatives from the Ministry, Sports Authority of India, and the Indian Olympic Association, discussed in detail the roadmap to the Paris Olympics that is to take place next year. They also took an update on the preparations for the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou this year.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Speaking on this occasion, Mr Thakur said that constant efforts are being made to make sure that the athletes perform well at the Asian Games and that India gives its best-ever performance in Hangzhou this year. The Minister also said, the government and the athletes, all are working towards making sure that no stone is left unturned in being prepared for these Asian Games.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />''Our Correspondent reports that the Asian Games are set to take place from the 23rd of September to the 8th of October in Hangzhou, China this year, while the Olympic Games are scheduled to take place from the 26th of July to 11th of August in Paris, France next year.</span><br />
