Union Minister for Youth Affairs Anurag Singh Thakur said that young people are equal stakeholders in the present scenario. While inaugurating the fourth Y20 consultation meeting in Pune, he said that the Y20 Summit presents a unique platform for young minds to share their vision, values, and ideas, and develop solutions and recommendations which will be presented to G20 leadership. India's role in this Summit is not limited to speaking, it also aims for youth to be heard and actively shape the global agenda.<br />'' <br />'' He mentioned that India is making headlines across the world, for being the world's fastest-growing large economy. From being among the fragile five economies in 2014, we are now among the first five economies of the world, he added. While talking about the pandemic, he said that India has been the first responder to the humanitarian crisis of COVID-19. He noted that from being a seeker of help, we have become a provider of help and assistance.<br />'' <br />''He expressed faith that the active involvement of young minds present for the event will lead us to a deeper understanding of the challenges we face as a society and humanity and the ways to resolve them at the Y20 discussion forum. Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and President of Symbiosis and Chancellor of Symbiosis International University, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor of Symbiosis International University, Dr. Sandeep Waslekar, President of Strategic Foresight Group and many other dignitaries were present in the event. The audience comprises young delegates, invitees, and students from India and G20 countries. The meeting aims to inspire young minds and foster international cooperation and understanding.
