Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar has said that the parliamentary democracy is the best form of the democracy in the world and it is the need of the hour to think how to raise the dignity and prestige of the parliamentary democracy. <br/><br/>Addressing the inaugural session of the All India Whips conference in Udaipur today, Mr. Kumar said there is a misconception among public about parliamentary procedures and opinion makers. Therefore, the ways to raise the prestige of parliamentary democracy should be pondered. He said Whips are the back bone of the parliamentary democracy. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Ministers of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal and Vijay Goyal also addressed the session.
